Seeing In Sepia

Hello Everyone,
I haven't had the chance to share yet today so I thought I would pop in with a little card.
Today I made a card for the Delightful Sketches challenge : Celebrate
I also used the challenge at Make It Colorful blog : monocramatic
and I used the sketch at : The Sweetest Thing

(I flipped it on it's side)
It also qualifies for the distressing challenge at Paper Sundaes
I haven't taken the time to dabble with sepia coloring in a LONG time. But it really is one of my favorite looks. I'm a suckers for sepia photos so it's no surprise that I like the look of sepia coloring.
And I love this crazy little girl in her frilly dress and static hair!! Too cute. She is one of my favorite from the Mo Manning stamps found at Stampin' Bella.

Thanks for taking the time to pop by. I hope you liked this little card.

Have a good great day!!

Blue Skies Ahead

I have resolved to send more cards this year. I make tonnes (and I mean TONNES) of cards each year and then I end up selling them at craft fairs and to family and friends. This year I am determind to make and send more cards. This card was made with that purpose in mind. I had colored this image and then was rumaging through my sentiments and stumbled across the one I chose.
Blue Skies Ahead
I loved this sentiment and I had never even inked it up before. But now that this card is in my stash, I will surley send it next time someone I know needs a little lift.
I used the Sweet Stop sketch :

I used my new copics BG95, 99 to color the bicycle.

this card also qualifies for the OCC challenge : three musketeers color challenge

I did decorate the inside aswell :

(may sunshine and laughter brighten your days)

Well, let's hope I don't have to send this to anyone I know, anytime soon, but if I do I hope they will enjoy.

From the Bottom of My Heart

Hey Everyone,

Back again with another quick post.
Lots to do today.

Another one for my sisters stash - (As I mentioned yesterday)

With Valentine's day just around the corner, I am inspired by all of the hearts and red and pink but I really don't have alot of people to give Valentine's to, so I thought this sentiment was perfect.

The clock is ticking and I better go!!
Have a good day

Take the time to smile - it's contagious!!

A little thankyou...

Hello Everyone,

Tonight I have two thankyou cards to show. My sister has asked me if I could put together an order of cards for her. She doesn't live close to me so she is hoping that when she visits in April, that I can give them to her then. (I guess, she is trying to be preparred...a little out of character for her, but what the hey...) So I have set out to complete her order. She wants (among other cards) 15 random thank-you cards. These two will go to her.

Card #1
was created using the sketch from Mojo Monday
and it is also for the Jugs Add Ink challenge - monocramatic.
I went with my fave color green.
I am also submitting it for the Paper Sundae challenge -
to pick your favourite challenge of the past year.
I chose to add a bit of hand cut flowers (which I love).
It was from Challenge #49 to cut it out.

and the inside :

And for Card #2

And the colors from Just Us Girls

Okay so maybe my coral came out more like pink. Tee hee
But I do love this new flocked self adhesive ribbon.
I got it at Walmart for $1.67 for 36". Score!!

Well, gotta run.
I have one little girl who needs a bath before bed.
Have a good night. I'll be back tomorrow to show you another thankyou card.

Until then...

Color Dare Meets Cardabilities

Hey Everyone,

I had mentioned yesterday that I would have another card to share today. I created it yesterday using my NEW Cricut cartridge. Yeah!! It's called 'Create a Critter'
And I created this little critter :

As you may or may not know, I love, love, love owls. I loved them before they were the it thing!! I think I've loved them for about 15 years. And I am obviously over the moon that they have become very readily available, not going to lie... I love seeing them in stamps, paper, embellies... all of it!!

I used the sketch from Cardabilities :
and the colors from Color Dare :

Hope you like my interpretation :

Okay well, gotta run. I'm actually posting from my in-laws and I really should go and be social. Tee! Hee! (I don't feel that guilty cause they are just sitting here, watching football.)
Have a good night!!!

2011 Resolution

Happy New Year Ladies!!
I hope this new year brings lots of joy and happiness to all of you!!
I actually managed to stay awake last night and I watched the ball drop. It's a rarity if I actually make it until midnight but last night I seemed to have alot of energy. It was fun!!

Anyways, I have been thinking about this for a while and I thought I would turn it into a New Years resolution.
Can you guess what it is???

Yep - I am determined to get my photos off of the darn computer or camera card and actually scrapbook them!! I picked up a bunch of coordinating paper and embellies and I am going to leave them together in the bags until I actually use them. (In hopes that if I keep the products together - It may be easier to complete a project.)

Last night I created these 2 double page layouts. Love them both!!
I used MME - Fine and Dandy paper and stamps.

Love the celery and pink together and the twine detail - yum.
I am submitting this for the

I am submitting this layout for the

These were taken at the end of last summer and I just love them. You can see the tender love in my daughter's eyes and it's just so sweet. (keep your eye open for the new calendar)

Well, I hope you enjoyed taking a look!!
Have a great first day of the NEW YEAR!!
